In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to establish best practices and standards for packaged and SaaS application development.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of configuration and integration processes within packaged and SaaS environments.
- Experience in managing software release cycles and deployment strategies.
- Ability to define and enforce platform standards to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Skilled in collaborating with business and vendor teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across multiple integrated systems.
