The Research Support Executive provides end-to-end administrative and coordination support to the company’s research and publications function, with a primary focus on the Grant Project, journal article publications, and conference participation.
This is not an authoring role. The position holder is not responsible for writing journal papers or articles. Instead, the role ensures that all documentation, deadlines, applications, and supporting research materials behind the Grant Project and publication activities are managed accurately, proactively, and without delay.
The role demands a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who takes full ownership of deadlines and documentation, communicates proactively, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
2. Key Responsibility Areas2.1 Grant Project Documentation
Maintain complete, accurate, and current documentation for the Grant Project at all times.
- Maintain a central, well-organised repository of all Grant Project documentation, including applications, approvals, correspondence, and reports
- Track all grant milestones, deliverables, and reporting deadlines, ensuring nothing is missed
- Prepare and maintain progress documentation, compliance records, and supporting evidence required for grant reporting
- Keep accurate records of all submissions, outcomes, and correspondence with grant bodies and partner institutions
- Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and immediately retrievable on request
- Flag any upcoming or at-risk deadlines to the Managing Director with adequate lead time
2.2 Conference & Event Identification
Continuously identify relevant conferences, events, and publication opportunities aligned with the company’s research areas.
- Actively search for relevant national and international conferences, symposiums, workshops, and industry events on an ongoing basis
- Monitor calls for papers, abstract deadlines, and special journal issues relevant to the research areas
- Maintain a conference and events calendar covering deadlines, submission requirements, fees, locations, and formats (in-person / virtual)
- Present a regular shortlist of recommended conferences and events with key details and deadlines
- Track outcomes of past conference participation to inform future selections
2.3 Conference Application & Submission Support
Manage the end-to-end logistics of conference applications and submissions.
- Prepare and manage conference applications, registrations, and abstract submissions in line with each conference’s requirements
- Format submissions, abstracts, and supporting documents to the required conference templates and guidelines
- Track all submission deadlines and ensure every application is lodged well ahead of the cut-off date
- Liaise with conference organisers on requirements, clarifications, and outcomes
- Coordinate supporting logistics for accepted papers, including registration, scheduling, and travel or visa documentation where required
- Maintain a submission tracker recording the status and outcome of every application
2.4 Publication Support (Non-Authoring)
Support the logistics of journal article publication without responsibility for writing content.
- Format articles and manuscripts to journal-specific templates, style guides, and referencing standards
- Manage citations and references using appropriate referencing tools and styles
- Handle journal submission portals, including uploading manuscripts, supporting files, and required declarations
- Track reviewer correspondence, revision deadlines, and resubmission requirements
- Proofread submissions for formatting, referencing, and compliance with journal requirements prior to lodgement
- Maintain a publication tracker covering the status of every article from submission through to publication
2.5 Research Ideas & Topic Support
Provide research support that helps shape and progress research ideas and topics.
- Conduct preliminary literature scans on proposed research topics as directed
- Compile concise summaries of recent publications, trends, and developments in relevant research areas
- Maintain a research ideas register capturing proposed topics, their status, and supporting material
- Gather supporting data, references, and background material for research and publication work as required
- Identify potential research gaps or emerging topics and bring them to the attention of the Managing Director

Educational background
Graduation in Engineering (BE/B.Tech- Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical, Energy Engineering) with Post-Graduation ME, M.Tech, in Renewable Energy/ Power Systems Engineering/Electrical Engineering or MBA in Power Management, Sustainable Energy Management, Energy and Environment. Candidates with prior experience in academic research and scholarly publications will be given preference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
