Responsible for leading end-to-end product development for Air Conditioners and Washing Machines, driving innovation, new product development (NPD), product lifecycle management, and ensuring high-quality, market-ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Product Development team for Air Conditioners and Washing Machines
- Drive New Product Development (NPD) from concept to commercial launch
- Develop product roadmaps aligned with business and market requirements
- Oversee product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and certification
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost optimization, and value engineering
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency requirements
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and technology benchmarking
- Manage product documentation, engineering change management, and product lifecycle activities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the product development team
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in New Product Development (NPD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- In-depth knowledge of Air Conditioner and Washing Machine technologies
- Experience in product design, testing, validation, and engineering
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, motors, compressors, electronics, and control systems
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering
- 12–18 years of experience in product development within the consumer electronics or home appliance industry
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, or other home appliances
- Strong exposure to product innovation, design engineering, manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and global product development
Pay: ₹175,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
