We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architect to join our team. This role is suitable for recent graduates as well as candidates with up to three years of experience. The selected candidate will assist in the planning, design, documentation, and coordination of architectural projects while working closely with senior architects, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
- Assist in conceptual design development and preparation of presentations.
- Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure design integration.
- Conduct site visits and assist in monitoring project progress when required.
- Support project teams in obtaining approvals and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Revise drawings and specifications based on project requirements and feedback.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and internal design discussions.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are eligible to apply.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles and construction documentation.
- Registration with the relevant professional council, where applicable, is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other BIM software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is desirable.
- Basic understanding of local building codes and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or prior experience in architectural design, planning, or execution.
- Exposure to residential, commercial, hospitality, or institutional projects.
- Understanding of sustainable design practices is an added advantage.
