Job Description – Project Management Executive / Sr. Executive (BESS)

Role Summary
Responsible for end-to-end execution of Utility-Scale and C&I Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from order intake to delivery, commissioning support, and project handover. The role serves as the primary interface between internal teams (sales, tech, service and operation) and customers, consultants to ensure enquiry conversion to orders, contractual compliance, on-time execution, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Enquiry, Order & Contract Management
· Enquiry management, Review customer requirements (technical specifications and commercial terms) for BESS projects.
· Identify contractual risks related to scope, delivery milestones, liquidated damages (LDs), warranties, performance guarantees, and payment terms.
· Internal co-ordination and ensure alignment across Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service teams.
· Manage change orders, variation requests, contractual deviations, and customer approvals throughout project execution.
Project Execution
· Develop and track project schedules from order receipt through delivery and commissioning.
· Coordinate manufacturing, quality inspections, FATs, documentation, logistics, and site readiness activities.
· Monitor critical milestones and proactively manage project risks, delays, and escalations.
· Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial documents as per contract requirements.
· Track project costs and support achievement of project margin targets.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
· Act as the single point of contact for internal team and customers.
· Regular project review and provide status updates on schedule, risks, and actions.
· Coordinate technical clarifications, inspection activities, and project documentation approvals.
Commissioning & Service Coordination
· Coordinate with commissioning and service teams to support installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
· Ensure fulfilment of contractual warranty, performance, and service obligations.
· Support resolution of site issues, warranty claims, and spare parts requirements.
Continuous Improvement
· Capture lessons learned and implement improvements in project execution and contract review processes.
· Support development of project management standards, reporting systems, and risk management practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in project management, order execution, or contract management within BESS, Solar, Power Electronics, OEM, or EPC organizations.
Experience in Utility-scale and/or C&I BESS projects preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per month
