Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts for material handling and movement within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, stacking, and shifting materials.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and other materials within the factory.
- Follow proper material handling and safety procedures.
- Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure materials are stacked and stored safely in designated areas.
- Maintain proper handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Support the warehouse and production teams as required.
- Maintain basic forklift operation and movement records.
- Follow all company safety rules and PPE requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certificate preferred.
- Good knowledge of forklift safety and material handling.
- Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
