FVP Panel Engineer / Technician (Control Panel Manufacturing)
Job Summary
The FVP Panel Engineer is responsible for the design, assembly, wiring, testing, and installation of electrical control panels used in industrial systems. The role ensures that all panels meet quality, safety, and project specifications while supporting manufacturing and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical control panels (MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD panels)
- Perform panel wiring, cable routing, and component mounting
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Conduct panel testing (continuity, insulation, functional testing)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
- Troubleshoot faults and rectify issues
- Prepare or verify GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOM
- Maintain documentation for audits and project records
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams
- Manage daily shop-floor panel production activities
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, and project teams
- Ensure timely delivery and productivity targets
- Support on-site panel installation and commissioning
- Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support
- Handle customer service queries
- Required Skills
- Electrical panel wiring & assembly
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, MCC, PCC systems
- Understanding of electrical drawings & schematics
- Testing tools & quality procedures
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- ITI (Electrician / Wireman) for technician roles
- Experience
- 1–5 years in panel manufacturing or electrical industry
- Freshers can apply for junior roles
Pay: ₹10,079.17 - ₹32,490.57 per month
