About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Deputy Manager HR to drive and manage the full spectrum of human resources for a growing engineering and manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with leadership to support business growth through strong talent acquisition, HR operations, PMS and entire people strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Scaling
- Lead end-to-end hiring across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate roles.
- Build scalable hiring pipelines and manage recruitment through multiple channels.
- Partner with business leaders to understand manpower planning and support growth.
- Manage external vendors, campus hiring initiatives, and recruitment partners.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmations, appraisals, and exit processes.
- Oversee HR operations, documentation, HRIS updates, and MIS reporting.
- Ensure smooth coordination between HR and business functions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and strengthen organizational culture.
- Address employee concerns and support conflict resolution where required.
Compliance & HR Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, labor laws, and internal policies.
- Maintain HR records, audits, and documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.
Process & Policy Development
- Support leadership in implementing HR policies and strengthening HR processes.
- Contribute to building scalable HR frameworks as the organization grows.
Preferred Background
- 1014 years of HR experience with strong exposure to talent acquisition and HR operations.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing / EMS / industrial or engineering organizations will be highly preferred.
- Proven track record in scaling hiring during growth phases.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Willingness to work from office at Sholinganallur, Chennai.
