job description
1. Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, and supplier components as per approved inspection plans.
2. Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and purchase requirements.
3. Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using measuring instruments.
4. Review supplier quality documents including:
Test Reports
PPAP Documents (where applicable)
5. Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials.
6. Raise rejection reports and coordinate with suppliers and quality engineers for disposition.
7. Maintain incoming inspection records and traceability documents.
8. Monitor supplier quality performance and recurring defects.
