- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in technical program management, specifically designing, constructing, or managing projects.
- Experience in software focused program/project management and in the business technology market.
- Knowledge of distributed software applications and the ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts.
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with technical and non-technical team members alike.
- Proven successful technical program management outcomes from idea to launching programs, throughout your career.
- Customer-focused, intent on helping the team build an execution process that delivers incremental value on a frequent basis.
- Comfortable building relationships across functions, product areas, and organizational boundaries.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

- Set the vision and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
- Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams.
- Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
- Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage OKRs, release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
- Contribute to various initiatives in Cloud Storage, Data Cloud, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technical program manager community.
