We are looking for senior software engineer for the Networking team to lead the team in the architecture and development of the next generation standard wireless networking technology such 802.11ax/be/ac, 5G and proprietary wireless technologies. The wireless networking team is responsible for the design and development of MAC and above layers such as LLC, RLC, RRC and call control layers of wireless stack. The responsibilities include understanding the standard specifications, customer requirements and then design, develop and port the complete stack to Linux based hardware platforms .
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, operate gracefully under stress, handle multiple assignments in parallel. The person should be a team player as the work involves a lot of cross-functional aspects and you will need to show excellent interpersonal skills .
- 7-8 years of hands-on experience in networking stacks
- You must have system level software design and development experience and have participated in full-life cycle of requirements gathering, design, development and testing of a complete wireless stack
- You must possess knowledge of at least one MAC layer – 802.11, 5G, LTE, 3G etc.
- Strong software design and development skills in C, C++ programming languages is essential
- You should possess excellent debugging skills using Wireshark, gdb, etc.
- Call control, phone software development experience
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols, SIP, RTP is highly preferred
- Experience with Linux networking, including sockets API, is desired
- BTech in computer science in a reputed institute
- BTech in ECE and MTech in CS in NIT, IIT, IIIT institutes
