Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Gear Hobbing Machine Operator to join our production team in Coimbatore. The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and setting Gear Hobbing Machines for gear cutting and production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up Gear Hobbing Machines efficiently.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and blueprints.
- Select suitable hobs, fixtures, and cutting tools for machining operations.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed, and depth as per production requirements.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Gear Tooth Vernier, Dial Gauge, etc.
- Ensure production quality and maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication activities.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace discipline.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Gear Hobbing Machine operation.
- Knowledge of gear cutting processes and tooling.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality checking.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge in machine operations.
- Good understanding of production and safety standards.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Gear Hobbing operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
