As an International Sales Executive for E-commerce, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our online retail business into international markets. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and partners across different regions, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets. Your efforts will contribute directly to the success of our global e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to understand the e-commerce landscape, consumer behaviors, and market trends in various international regions. Identify potential markets for expansion and provide insights to the management team.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Serve as the main point of contact, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for penetrating new markets and increasing market share. Tailor strategies to cater to the unique preferences and needs of each international market.
Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, social media, and networking. Generate leads and qualify prospects to create a strong sales pipeline.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to secure new business deals while ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and product management to ensure seamless operations, timely order fulfillment, and alignment on promotional activities.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics for different international markets. Regularly update management with progress reports, sales forecasts, and insights on market dynamics.
Market Expansion: Proactively seek out opportunities to expand the company's market presence by identifying potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels in target markets.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in international sales, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
- In-depth understanding of e-commerce platforms, trends, and global market dynamics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
