Documentation & Communication Officer
Job Description
Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) is recruiting Documentation & Communication
Officer for project and based at Delhi office. Organization want to hire someone who believes
in creating impact at scale, changing lives, managing stakeholders including governments in
the state and can be an excellent team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall documentation activities for the project such as reports, relevant documents
Effective Dissemination of IEC Material for the project
Ensuring the implementation of communication activities as proposed for the project
Prepare Communication Strategy to expedite the vaccination drive and mobilization of
reluctant population in the targeted areas
Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to
the Team Lead
Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other report
Content development for brochures, flyers, marketing materials, website etc. Preparing
announcements, press releases, presentations, technical documentation etc.
Ensure effective communications, visibility and knowledge management;
Produce reports and stories of the seminars/workshops organized by the project;
Provide technical support to the project team in producing various evaluation and
knowledge products of the project;
Ensure proper documentation of the communications materials and knowledge
products;
Prepare and edit press releases, programme related progress reports and documents;
Apart from project to lead ongoing projects, project planning, implementation,
capacity building of project officials, organize program promotional activities and
campaigns, monitoring and evaluation, documentation, donor reporting, and update.
Identify, mobilize and develop financial resources, explore potential funding
opportunities from Corporate Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and effective
networking with government departments and other relevant statutory bodies.
Retention of existing donors and continuous exploration of new donors for
mobilization of funds for organizing events and new projects.
To lead the work on active mobilization of Corporates and NGOs for ISRN Membership.
Supervision, guided, and exploration of a database of Corporates and NGOs.
Improve and develop communication material for the organization such as reports,
documents, and other materials.
Organizing or providing assistance in capacity-building programs and event planning
and campaigns.
Training needs assessment of clients office; visiting clients office, project area, and
event sites as per the need.
Suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.
Designing and implementing a fundraising strategy, setting priorities, goals, and
budgets, cultivating potential donors, and communicating with current donors.
Develop CSR consulting as a practice to interface with corporate to support community
investment projects.
Develop the resource mobilization strategy and quarterly plan and set yearly targets
based on the resource mobilization strategy.
Increase the visibility of ISRN as an organization and its work portfolio.
Responsible for effectively leading the team towards the achievement of individual
targets, providing leadership, vision, and strategic direction while facilitating and
empowering their work.
Undertaking such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature from time
to time as may be required, in consultation with the organization.
Skills & Experience:
At least of five -ten years relevant working experience;
Some working experience in the media will be an asset;
Some experience in audio visuals will also be an asset;
Candidate should have an extensive experience in communication and diffusion
strategies and techniques, reporting, documentation, publication, and audio-visual
material preparation in relation to conservation and development fields;
Candidate should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills
Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PPT, Designing- photoshop etc.
Strong skills in analysis, critical thinking and reporting to inform decision making
Experience of conducting field survey and interviews
Experience in project reporting, documentation, Communication, supervision,
monitoring & evaluation.
Education:
A minimum qualification of a Master’s degree, preferably in social work/rural development &
management, Social Science/Development Studies other relevant fields.
Professional Experience:
At least 7 to 10 years of experience in social development preferably in the health sector.
