Process Monitoring & Control
- Monitor complete phosphating line operations to ensure consistent coating quality.
- Ensure proper sequence of process stages such as:
- Degreasing
- Water rinsing
- Derusting/pickling
- Surface activation
- Phosphating
- Passivation
- Drying
- Maintain process parameters within specified limits:
- Temperature
- pH level
- Chemical concentration
- Total acid/free acid ratio
- Immersion time
- Spray pressure
Quality Inspection Responsibilities
- Inspect phosphated components for:
- Uniform coating
- Surface cleanliness
- Coating adhesion
- Coating weight/thickness
- Corrosion resistance
- Stain or patch formation
- Conduct visual inspections and laboratory testing.
- Approve or reject materials based on quality standards.
Chemical Bath Management
- Monitor chemical bath conditions regularly.
- Conduct titration analysis and chemical testing.
- Maintain proper chemical dosing and replenishment schedules.
- Coordinate with chemical suppliers for bath optimization.
- Ensure sludge removal and tank cleanliness.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily quality records and process logs.
- Record:
- Bath analysis reports
- Rejection data
- Corrective actions
- Production reports
- Inspection checklists
- Prepare quality reports for management review.
Problem Solving & Corrective Actions
- Identify coating defects and process abnormalities.
- Analyze root causes for:
- Poor adhesion
- Rust formation
- Uneven coating
- Flash rusting
- Excessive sludge
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch departments.
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of components.
- Minimize rejection and rework.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
