Merchandiser Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser Executive to manage customer orders, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure the timely execution of production schedules. The ideal candidate should have experience in the garment or textile industry with strong communication, coordination, and planning skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers regarding order status, samples, approvals, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans for all orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Sourcing, and Logistics teams.
- Follow up on raw material availability and production progress.
- Ensure timely execution of sampling, approvals, and bulk production.
- Monitor order timelines and take corrective actions to avoid delivery delays.
- Prepare merchandising reports, order trackers, and documentation.
- Assist in product costing, order planning, and production coordination.
- Resolve order-related issues by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Technology, Fashion Technology, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience as a Merchandiser Executive or Merchandiser in the garment or textile industry.
- Experience handling domestic and export orders will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of garment manufacturing and merchandising processes.
- Experience in buyer communication and order management.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, accessories, and production planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in knitted, woven, or textile manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
