We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect / Landscaping Designer to work on high-end villa and real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing aesthetically appealing, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces aligned with modern architectural concepts.
This role is best suited for candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture / Horticulture / Environmental Design, along with strong software and design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop landscape concepts for luxury villas, farmhouses, and township projects
- Prepare detailed landscape drawings, layouts, and planting plans
- Collaborate closely with architects, civil teams, and project managers to align landscape with architectural vision
- Create 3D visualizations and presentations for project proposals
- Select plant palettes based on climate, soil, and aesthetic requirements (especially coastal regions like Goa)
- Plan and implement irrigation systems, lighting, and outdoor features (water bodies, pathways, decks, etc.)
- Conduct site visits and supervise execution to ensure design accuracy
- Coordinate with vendors for materials, plants, and landscaping resources
- Ensure sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly and water-efficient practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
- Strong design sense with understanding of villa-style and luxury outdoor spaces
- Proficiency in design and visualization software such as:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Lumion / V-Ray / Revit (preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Knowledge of plant species, landscaping materials, and irrigation systems
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at project locations
Preferred Candidate Profile (Postgraduate Advantage)
Candidates with Master’s degrees typically bring:
- Advanced expertise in landscape planning, sustainability, and environmental integration
- Ability to handle end-to-end project design and execution
- Experience working on luxury villas, resorts, or large-scale developments
- Strong conceptual thinking aligned with architectural design standards
- Capability to lead design discussions with architects and clients
