Main tasks and duties:

Maintain, cleanse, and continuously improve material compliance master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment

Ensure product and material master data compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS, POPs, GADSL, SCIP)

Create and manage material objects and part structures within the PDM system

Collaborate with suppliers to obtain, validate, and maintain material declarations, including environmental and sustainability-related data

Create and maintain purchasing parts and specifications throughout the product lifecycle
-
Develop purchasing specifications to accurately describe supplier products and designed parts
-
Work closely with design engineers and technical product coordinators for new product data creation and updates
-
Support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) activities by collecting and structuring relevant product data (e.g., material composition, weights, supplier inputs)

Contribute to the availability and quality of data required for LCA/ sustainability related topics

Identify and support closure of data gaps impacting both compliance and LCA evaluations
-
Promote integration of sustainability considerations into material compliance processes and data structures.
Responsibilities:

Own PDM part and material object creation for Systems and Connectivity article groups

Maintain technical responsibility for product and material master data, ensuring both regulatory compliance and data readiness for sustainability assessments
Ensure alignment between material compliance rules (e.g. substance restrictions) environmental reporting requirements (PPWR; DPP)

Support product development by ensuring timely availability of accurate compliance and environmental dataEnsure error-free, structured, and audit-ready documentation across systems

Ensure alignment with technical product specifications, regulatory requirements, and sustainability expectations during implementation

Act as a key interface between Material Compliance, and Sustainability/LCA stakeholders

Support LCA studies and environmental reporting by providing consistent, traceable, and high-quality product data
Stay up to date with evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements (e.g., regulatory updates, PPWR, DPP) and translate regulatory requirements into data requirements and system structures

Drive continuous improvement of data quality, processes, and tools supporting both compliance and sustainability objectives

Ensure fulfillment of Technical Product Coordination Service Level Agreements (SLA)
