About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement function for our Interior, Civil, and MEP contracting projects across India. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in sourcing, vendor development, contract negotiations, and procurement planning for Retail, QSR, Restaurant, Commercial Interior, and Construction projects.
The candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely availability of materials and services while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for Interior Fit-Out, Civil, MEP, and finishing works.
- Prepare project-wise procurement schedules in coordination with Project Managers and Site Engineers.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and consumables.
- Monitor material requirements and ensure uninterrupted supply to project sites.
Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, evaluate, empanel, and develop reliable vendors and subcontractors across India.
- Maintain a robust vendor database for Civil, Carpentry, Metal Works, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Interior materials.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, and cost parameters.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
Commercial & Negotiation
- Float RFQs/RFPs, obtain competitive quotations, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Achieve annual cost savings and value engineering initiatives without compromising quality.
- Finalize purchase orders and subcontract agreements in line with company policies.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Projects, Estimation, Design, Accounts, and Site teams.
- Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material schedules for procurement planning.
- Ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets.
- Resolve supply chain issues and expedite critical materials.
Contract & Documentation Management
- Prepare and review Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and Subcontract Agreements.
- Ensure all procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained systematically.
- Track pending POs, delivery schedules, and vendor commitments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock holding.
- Prevent material shortages, excess inventory, and wastage.
- Analyze procurement trends and prepare MIS reports.
- Monitor procurement budgets and support project profitability.
ERP & Reporting
- Ensure procurement transactions are processed through ERP systems.
- Generate periodic MIS reports on procurement status, savings, pending orders, and vendor performance.
- Present procurement dashboards and reports to management.
Key Materials Exposure Required
The candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement of:
- Civil construction materials
- Interior finishing materials
- Modular furniture and loose furniture
- Carpentry and joinery materials
- Glass, aluminium, and façade materials
- MS/SS fabrication items
- Flooring materials (tiles, stone, wood, vinyl)
- Electrical materials and lighting systems
- HVAC materials
- Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems
- Plumbing and sanitary materials
- Kitchen equipment and restaurant fit-out materials
Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) preferred.
- MBA in Supply Chain/Operations shall be an added advantage.
Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant procurement experience in Interior Fit-Out, Retail, QSR, Hospitality, or Construction contracting companies.
- Prior experience in handling multiple fast-track projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with reputed contracting companies in Delhi NCR preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Interior, Civil, and MEP materials.
- Ability to read BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.

Compensation
CTC: As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Preferred Industry: Interior Fit-Out, Retail, QSR, Hospitality, Commercial Interiors, Civil & MEP Contracting.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
