We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchant to support merchandising operations, buyer coordination, sampling development, production follow-up, and order execution. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills and experience working with export-oriented manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with buyers.
- Manage sampling development and follow-up activities.
- Track production status and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare costing sheets and assist in product costing activities.
- Monitor order execution and shipment timelines.
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and other internal departments.
- Maintain purchase orders, order documentation, and T&A calendars.
- Follow up on buyer approvals, comments, and requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned merchandising activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in Merchandising or Assistant Merchandising.
- Experience in buyer coordination and production follow-up.
- Knowledge of sampling and product development processes.
- Ability to prepare costing sheets and maintain order documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
