About the Role:
Nexgen is looking for a skilled and motivated Shopify Front-End Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end technologies and practical experience working with Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The candidate will work closely with designers and other team members to build responsive, user-friendly and high-performing e-commerce websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize and maintain Shopify websites and themes.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional Shopify storefronts.
- Work extensively with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Customize Shopify themes, sections, templates and storefront components.
- Develop responsive layouts that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party tools as required.
- Work with APIs and third-party integrations to enhance Shopify store functionality.
- Implement custom features and improve existing Shopify storefront functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end, theme and functionality-related issues.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed and user experience.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers to deliver projects within timelines.
- Use Git/GitHub for code management and collaboration.
- Stay updated with Shopify features, e-commerce trends and modern front-end development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong practical knowledge of Shopify Liquid.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and development.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand designs and convert them into functional web pages.
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of React.js.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Understanding of website performance, SEO and web accessibility.
- Experience working on international or multi-store e-commerce projects.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dwarka Mor Metro Station, Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
