The purpose of the role is to advise and assist the Factory Manager in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Duties and Responsibilities - Provide specialized Environment training & Environment Audits capabilities at Company & to assist in environment performance reporting. Preparation, Implementation and updating of Onsite Emergency Preparedness Plan. To design and conduct either independently or in collaboration with the training department, suitable training and educational programs for the prevention of personal injuries. Review of HIRA and timely update or changes needs to been in line with process of any change. Analysis of accidents and find out the corrective, effective measure and ensure horizontal deployment. Preparing MIS and trend monitoring for Safety, Environment and Health. Ensure all legal requirements pertaining to the EHS must meet as per the act and amendments Ensuring annual trainings likewise, firefighting, first aider shall provide. Focus on capture & initiating necessary actions on near miss happened, potential hazard at the factory.
* • BE / B Tech and min 2 years industrial experience in a supervisory capacity or • BE / B Tech and min 5 years minimum experience in training education, consultancy or research in accident prevention in any industry Or • Degree (Physics or Chemistry or Diploma in any branch of Engg or Technology) and minimum 5 years practical experience in supervisory capacity in any industry Person shall be continued as a safety officer only if he possess requisite qualification prescribed above and Diploma in industrial safety or obtain such qualifications or a diploma within the period not more than 3 years.
