Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering
- Prepare 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop production-ready drawings for laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Generate DXF files, BOMs, and production files.
- Modify designs as per production or client requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
Production & Fabrication Supervision
- Supervise daily fabrication activities on the shop floor.
- Guide laser cutting, bending, welding, and fabrication operators.
- Explain production drawings and fabrication sequence to operators.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings.
- Monitor production quality and minimize rework.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and Production teams.
Production Planning & Software Updates
- Update daily production status in ERP/Zoho/Production Software.
- Maintain fabrication progress records.
- Track pending jobs and coordinate with planning for timely completion.
- Ensure production reports are updated accurately.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Production, QA/QC, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Resolve technical issues during fabrication.
- Assist in production planning and execution.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments.
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of Sheet Metal Design.
- Knowledge of Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, Welding, and Fabrication.
- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and supervision.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Excel, MS Office, ERP/Zoho).
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Knowledge of Parametric Modeling in SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Metal Fabrication, Architectural Products, Aluminium, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel fabrication.
- Experience in ERP/Zoho software updates and production tracking.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 3–8 years in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Manufacturing, or Production.

- Accuracy of manufacturing drawings.
- Timely release of production files.
- On-time production completion.
- Reduction in fabrication errors and rework.
- Daily production software updates.
- Effective shop floor supervision.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- Be proficient in SolidWorks and Sheet Metal Design.
- Have practical knowledge of fabrication, laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and assembly.
- Be capable of supervising fabrication teams on the shop floor.
- Explain production drawings clearly to operators.
- Maintain daily production records in ERP/software.
- Coordinate effectively with Design, Production, QA/QC, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Take ownership of fabrication activities from drawing release to final production.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
