About the Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Admission Counselor to guide students and prospective learners in selecting suitable courses and programs. The candidate will be responsible for handling student inquiries, explaining course details, following up with leads, and converting inquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from students through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Understand students' educational and career goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Explain course details, curriculum, duration, fees, career opportunities, and other relevant information.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert qualified leads into successful admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Coordinate with the training/academic team to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Assist students with the application and enrollment process.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Strong follow-up and customer-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Sheets.

Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job portals such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Naukri, and other recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Conduct initial telephonic/online screening of candidates.
- Understand technical requirements and match candidates with suitable IT roles.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain and regularly update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Negotiate and discuss salary, availability, and joining timelines.
- Maintain proper recruitment documentation and reports.
- Meet daily/weekly recruitment targets.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
