Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and studio sessions in Interior Design.
- Teach subjects including design fundamentals, space planning, residential and commercial design, furniture design, materials, lighting, building services, and design visualization.
- Guide students through concept development, design projects, portfolio creation, and jury presentations.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the academic curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Mentor students for internships, industry projects, and career opportunities.
- Organize workshops, site visits, guest lectures, exhibitions, and design events.
- Stay updated with current industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design.
- 0–3 years of professional and/or teaching experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray and other relevant design software.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Industry experience with a creative portfolio is an added advantage.
