Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Planning & Delivery
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment framework.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Integrate practical applications, investigations, and real-life examples into mathematics teaching.
- Employ technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and independent learning.
Student Learning & Development
- Develop students’ numerical, algebraic, geometrical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Encourage logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and mathematical communication.
- Support students in applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including support and enrichment programmes.
- Foster confidence, perseverance, and a positive attitude towards mathematics.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement, progress, and assessment data.
- Analyse assessment outcomes to identify learning gaps and implement targeted interventions.
- Prepare student reports and communicate academic progress to parents and school leadership.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a positive, disciplined, and productive classroom environment.
- Promote student engagement through collaborative learning, investigations, and mathematical discussions.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies and expectations.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
Academic Administration
- Maintain lesson plans, curriculum documentation, assessment records, and student portfolios as required.
- Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and standardisation activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of examination materials, question papers, and academic reports.
- Support school events, mathematics competitions, exhibitions, enrichment programmes, and academic initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Parent & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews, and school engagement activities.
- Work collaboratively with academic leaders and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
Professional Development
- Participate in Cambridge training programmes, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Stay updated with developments in mathematics education, assessment practices, and Cambridge curriculum requirements.
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the department.
Compliance & School Responsibilities
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, POSH, POCSO, and child protection guidelines.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of students at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
- Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the School Leadership Team.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
- Cambridge professional development certifications will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
