Job Summary
We are looking for a Trainee Videographer to join our newsroom and digital media team. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates who are interested in videography, video editing, journalism, and digital content creation.
The selected candidate will receive practical training and work closely with journalists, editors, and senior video professionals to create video content for our news and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in filming interviews, news segments, office events, and digital content.
- Operate cameras, microphones, lighting, and basic video equipment under supervision.
- Assist the team with setting up cameras, lights, and audio equipment.
- Edit videos for news websites and social media platforms.
- Create short videos, reels, clips, and other digital content.
- Add basic captions, graphics, transitions, and background music as required.
- Organize and maintain video files and footage.
- Assist senior videographers and video editors with daily assignments.
- Learn and follow newsroom video-production standards and workflows.
- Ensure videos meet quality and editorial requirements.
- Complete assigned video-editing and production tasks within deadlines.
- Maintain and handle video equipment responsibly.

Requirements
- Fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation and video editing.
- Interest in journalism, news, media, and digital content.
- Creative mindset and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Candidates with a basic portfolio or sample video work will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
