Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for minimizing downtime, improving machine efficiency, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure timely rectification of machine breakdowns to minimize production losses.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and utility systems.
- Follow safety standards and maintenance procedures during all activities.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machines when required.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the maintenance area.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of motors, drives, pumps, compressors, and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
