E-Help Education & Migration is a Brisbane-based education and migration consultancy supporting students, migrants, employers, and businesses across Australia and internationally. As our organization continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of our HR function and help build a high-performing, compliant, and people-focused workplace.
This role is ideal for a senior HR professional based in India or the Philippines who has experience managing HR operations for international organizations and possesses a strong understanding of both Australian employment legislation and Indian labour laws.
You will work directly with senior leadership and be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting a growing workforce across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for Australian and international roles
- Develop effective hiring strategies to attract high-quality candidates
- Manage onboarding and induction programs for new employees
- Coordinate probation reviews and employee integration
HR Operations & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, National Employment Standards (NES), Modern Awards, and workplace regulations
- Provide guidance on Indian labour laws and HR compliance requirements where applicable
- Manage employment contracts, HR documentation, employee records, and HR reporting
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters
- Support managers in handling performance issues, disciplinary processes, and workplace concerns
- Lead performance review programs and employee development initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with management to develop workforce planning and retention strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes, and employee engagement
- Support organizational growth through succession planning and leadership development
- Provide practical HR advice to company directors and department managers
Essential Requirements
Applications will only be considered if the following requirements are met:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR capacity
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work requirements, National Employment Standards, and workplace compliance obligations
- Demonstrated understanding of Indian labour laws and employment practices
- Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development
- Experience supporting remote or geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
Highly Desirable
- Experience working with Australian companies or Australian-based clients
- Experience in education, migration, professional services, consulting, or recruitment industries
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce management platforms
- Experience managing multicultural and international teams
- Knowledge of Philippine employment regulations is advantageous
