Personal YouTube Videographer & Editor – Travel With Me & Capture My Life in India. Jaipur,
I’m looking for a talented videographer/cameraman and video editor in India to join me and become the primary person behind the camera for my YouTube channel.
My previous cameraman recently moved on, so I’m looking for someone who can take over the role and become a long-term part of the team.
This is not a typical “show up, film an event, and go home” camera job. I’m looking for someone who can follow me throughout my day-to-day life, travel with me, capture spontaneous moments, and turn that footage into entertaining, professional YouTube videos.
What you’ll be doing
Follow me and film my daily life, travels, adventures, and experiences
Capture both planned and spontaneous moments
Shoot high-quality video with good composition, lighting, and audio
Be comfortable filming in different environments and situations
Help come up with creative shots and ideas for content
Organize and manage video footage
Edit videos for YouTube from start to finish
Create engaging intros, pacing, transitions, music, graphics, etc.
Create Shorts/Reels/TikToks from longer-form content when appropriate
Help make the content feel natural, entertaining, and authentic
Who I’m looking for
The most important thing is personality and creativity. I don't just want someone who knows how to operate a camera.
I want someone who:
Has experience filming and editing YouTube content
Understands what makes videos entertaining and keeps viewers watching
Has a good eye for interesting shots and storytelling
Can film handheld, moving, and spontaneous content
Is comfortable being around a creator for extended periods
Is proactive rather than waiting to be told what to film
Can work independently
Is reliable, organized, and professional
Has strong video editing skills
Is comfortable traveling and working in different locations
Speaks good English
Has a fun personality and can become part of the adventure
Location
I am currently in India, and I specifically want to hire someone who is already based in India or can easily work and travel within India.
There may be opportunities to travel with me to other locations in the future as well.
Equipment
Please tell me what camera equipment, lenses, microphones, gimbals, drones, and other gear you currently have access to.
I’m open to discussing equipment and can potentially provide additional equipment if needed.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants more than a normal freelance gig. I’m looking for someone who can travel, experience interesting things, meet interesting people, and help document it all.
