Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, budgeting, cost control, and audit activities. The role requires ensuring accurate financial records while maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements relevant to the explosives manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, GST, and tax audits.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor inventory valuation and costing in coordination with Stores and Production departments.
- Ensure proper accounting of raw materials, finished goods, and manufacturing expenses.
- Verify vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payroll accounting.
- Liaise with banks for working capital limits, term loans, bank guarantees, and other banking requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and applicable financial regulations.
- Develop and implement financial controls and accounting policies.
- Support management in financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor the Accounts team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
- M COM
Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
- Experience in Explosives, Chemicals, Mining, Cement, or Heavy Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally Prime, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
