Job Summary
The Accounts Executive will handle daily accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and employee expense reimbursements. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems or standard accounting software.Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable Management: Process vendor invoices accurately, verify three-way matching (PO, GRN, and Invoice), resolve billing discrepancies, and prepare timely payment schedules.
- Bank Reconciliation (BRS): Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation statements to ensure all bank transactions match internal books, identifying and resolving deviations.
- Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate up-to-date general ledgers, pass necessary journal entries, adjust provisions, and ensure proper classification of expenses.
- Expense Reimbursements: Scrutinize, verify, and process employee travel and domestic expense claims according to company policies before disbursement.
- Audit Support: Assist senior accountants in preparing schedules and documents for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Compliance: Assist in compiling data required for monthly statutory compliances like TDS, GST, and PF/ESI calculations related to vendor payments and expenses.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA in Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of core accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing organization.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP, or a similar ERP system, along with strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Core Competencies: Clear understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and indirect taxation basics (TDS and GST).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict monthly closing deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
