You'll drive automation, reliability, cost-efficiency, and developer experience across our CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes platforms, observability, and security controls. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management.
Responsibilities
-
Platform Ownership: Architect, implement, and operate a robust internal platform (Kubernetes-based) enabling self-service deployments, scalable workloads, and standardized guardrails.

-
Cloud Engineering: Design secure and cost-aware cloud topologies (networking, IAM, compute, storage, serverless, managed DBs, and edge/CDN).
-
CI/CD Enablement: Implement and optimize pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for build/test/deploy, artifact management, and promotion strategies (blue/green, canary).
-
Containers & Orchestration: Operate Kubernetes clusters, manage Helm and GitOps workflows, service meshes (Istio), and workload autoscaling.
-
Observability & Reliability: Establish end-to-end telemetry with OpenTelemetry; define SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and incident response runbooks.
-
Security by Design: Embed DevSecOps—secret management (e.g., Vault), image scanning (Trivy), dependency scanning (SCA), workload policies, and compliance baselines (SOC2/ISO27001).
-
Cost & Performance: Monitor and optimize cloud usage (FinOps), capacity planning, performance profiling, and right-sizing.
-
Developer Experience: Improve inner-loop productivity with golden paths, templates, and CLI tooling; champion platform usability and documentation.
-
Mentorship & Collaboration: Coach engineers, partner with architecture, and product teams; lead technical initiatives and production readiness reviews.
