Catalog Executive

About the Role
The Catalog Executive will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing product listings across Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS. In addition to catalog management, the role will support various operational functions, including pricing updates, purchase order creation, inventory management, and marketplace coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketplace operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Catalog Management
- Create new product listings on Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Marketplace.
- Update and maintain existing product listings, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Manage product variations, attributes, images, titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords.
- Resolve listing suppressions, catalog errors, and content-related issues.
- Ensure catalog quality and compliance with marketplace guidelines.
Marketplace Operations
- Update pricing, inventory quantities, and listing information as required.
- Monitor listing health and identify issues affecting product visibility.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely listing updates and product launches.
- Assist in maintaining marketplace account health through accurate catalog management.
Purchase Order & Inventory Support
- Assist in creating and processing purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding order execution.
- Support inventory updates and replenishment activities.
- Maintain operational records and trackers related to inventory and purchasing.
Operational Support
- Support Business Analysts and Marketplace Managers in day-to-day marketplace operations.
- Prepare operational reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform additional marketplace-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, catalog management, or marketplace operations.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Walmart Marketplace is preferred.
- Good understanding of Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
