Job Description:
Position: Executive / Senior Executive – AIF Category III (Concurrent Audit)
Location: Lower Parel (Client Location – Onsite Role)
Role Overview:
The role involves concurrent audit and daily monitoring of AIF Category III funds, with a focus on NAV validation, fund movements, portfolio verification, and performance review. The position requires working closely with client teams and ensuring timely, accurate verification of fund accounting and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify daily NAV calculations of AIF Category III funds.
- Monitor daily fund movements through bank statements and trade statements.
- Verify portfolio holdings with trade confirmations and supporting records.
- Review daily P&L and fund returns, identify variances and escalate discrepancies.
- Perform month-end review of cash flows, including validation of TWRR and XIRR calculations.
- Review the Gross NAV pack, including valuation workings and expense accruals.
- Verify management fees and performance fees as per fund documents.
- Review allotments and redemptions to ensure accuracy of unit capital and investor impact.
- Validate Statements of Account (SOA) before circulation to investors.
- Ensure timely reporting in a concurrent audit environment with strict daily deadlines.
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in AIF / PMS / Mutual Fund / Fund Accounting / Audit of Investment Funds preferred.
- Strong understanding of NAV calculation, fund accounting, and capital activity.
- Working knowledge of performance metrics such as TWRR and XIRR.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a client-facing setup.
- Proficiency in Excel (including formulas and data validation).
