About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Android App Developer to design, develop, and maintain Android applications for our products. The ideal candidate should have experience building high-quality mobile applications, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
- Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into functional mobile applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Debug and resolve application issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers.
- Publish and maintain apps on the Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with Android development trends and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android app architecture.
- Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack components.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics).
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of app performance optimization and security practices.
- Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payment gateway integrations.
- Knowledge of offline storage and synchronization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Android app testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is a plus.
Deliverables
- Android application development based on project requirements.
- Regular progress updates and code submissions.
- Source code documentation.
