Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the overall administrative, clinical, and strategic operations of our hospital in Ahmedabad.
As the COO, you will act as the operational anchor, scaling our healthcare delivery standards, spearheading quality accreditations, and aggressively expanding our market footprint through strategic insurance/TPA tie-ups and government healthcare schemes (CGHS, PMJAY). The ideal candidate possesses deep-rooted knowledge of the Ahmedabad healthcare market, strong regulatory compliance expertise, and a proven track record in hospital revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Hospital Administration & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day clinical and non-clinical hospital operations to ensure seamless patient care, optimal resource utilization, and high standards of service excellence.
- Manage P&L, budget preparation, cost-containment initiatives, and financial performance across all departments.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate department heads (Nursing, HR, Finance, Facility Management, and Medical Services).
2. Quality & Compliance (NABH)
- Spearhead and maintain NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) standards, protocols, and quality indicators across the institution.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory, legal, and biomedical waste management regulations, maintaining audit-readiness at all times.
3. Government Schemes & Insurance Management (CGHS & PMJAY)
- Drive end-to-end empanelment, compliance, and billing processes for CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) and PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana).
- Optimize the utilization and speedy claim settlements for state and central government healthcare schemes to maximize institutional revenue.
4. Marketing, Branding & TPA Tie-Ups
- Formulate and execute aggressive hospital marketing strategies to increase OPD footfalls, IPD admissions, and surgical volumes in the local Ahmedabad region.
- Establish, nurture, and expand corporate partnerships, institutional relationships, and TPA (Third-Party Administrator) network tie-ups to scale cashless patient volume.
- Build strong referral networks with local general practitioners (GPs), consultants, and community organizations.

- Mandatory Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in driving NABH accreditation cycles.
- Proven expertise in managing CGHS and PMJAY workflows, documentation, and compliance.
- Strong background in establishing TPA and corporate insurance tie-ups.
- Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Ahmedabad healthcare ecosystem, regional medical trends, competitor landscape, and local referral networks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, crisis management, negotiation, and cross-functional communication abilities.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
