Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Preventative & Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled checks on electrical systems (lighting, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels) to prevent unexpected failures and extend equipment lifespan. [1, 2, 3]
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use testing devices like multimeters, ohmmeters, and clamp meters to identify electrical malfunctions and isolate circuit faults. [1, 2, 3]
- Repairs & Replacements: Fix or replace old or damaged wiring, switches, fuses, and electrical fixtures. [1, 2]
- Emergency Response: Act quickly to resolve unexpected power outages or equipment breakdowns, communicating estimated downtimes clearly to management. [1]
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets national and local electrical safety codes and regulations. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to protect workers and the facility. [1, 2]
- Blueprint Reading: Analyze complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to safely trace and maintain wiring pathways. [1, 2, 3]
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs of all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections. Order and manage the inventory of necessary electrical supplies and replacement parts. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Skills Required
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AC/DC circuits, three-phase power systems, and electromechanical components.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate system failures logically and propose practical, long-term solutions.
- Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Communication: Clear communication with facility management and fellow team members regarding electrical shutdowns and ongoing safety hazards
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
