Job Description: Sales Coordinator
The Sales Coordinator links the MD’s office, the Sales Team (including Upcountry), and internal operations. This role focuses on optimising the MD’s schedule, driving payment collections, and supporting field sales execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales Operations: Issue quotes, proposals, and order confirmations. Liaise with Design, Production, and Operations on delivery timelines. Report pipeline status to the MD.
- Upcountry Logistics: Track daily field visits via the Unolo app and optimize travel routes. Prep sales samples and collaterals for team and MD client visits.
- Collections: Contact clients for overdue payments, track Proforma Invoices (PI) for advances, and maintain the Collection Register in coordination with Accounts.
- MD Support & Meetings: Manage the MD’s calendar and daily check-ins. Organize monthly reviews (PPT prep), run the weekly Upcountry Scrum, and track all action items.
- Travel & Admin: Book all trains, hotels, and itineraries for the MD and Upcountry team. Verify travel expense claims and maintain organized sales files.
