LOT International is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented GeM and Government Tender Executive to manage Government e-Marketplace operations, e-tender submissions, tender documentation, and routine accounting work.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable government tenders, preparing and submitting bids, maintaining required documents, coordinating with departments and vendors, and ensuring that all tender deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
The role also includes basic accounting responsibilities such as maintaining invoices, purchase and sales records, payment follow-ups, expense tracking, and supporting GST and bookkeeping activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and identify relevant tenders on the GeM portal, CPPP, eProcurement portals, and other government tender websites.
- Manage product and service listings on the GeM portal.
- Prepare and submit online bids, quotations, BOQs, technical documents, and financial documents.
- Review tender eligibility, terms, specifications, and submission requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update tender-related documents, certificates, registrations, and company profiles.
- Track bid submission dates, tender status, results, purchase orders, and contract deadlines.
- Handle tender clarifications, reverse auctions, vendor assessments, and buyer communications.
- Coordinate with management, vendors, suppliers, and government departments regarding tender requirements.
- Manage GeM orders, invoices, dispatch documents, delivery status, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain records of purchases, sales, expenses, invoices, and payments.
- Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, GST documentation, and accounting data entry.
- Prepare regular reports regarding active tenders, submitted bids, awarded contracts, payments, and pending work.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation of company and tender-related information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience working with the GeM portal and Government e-Tenders is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, GST, invoicing, and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Tally, Busy, Marg, Excel, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and online portals.
- Strong documentation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Candidates with practical experience in GeM and government tender submission will be given preference.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
