About the Role
Ascend Innovations is looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our creative team. The role involves developing visual and video content for our digital marketing activities, social media, campaigns, events, and brand communications.
We are looking for someone with strong creative skills, good visual judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects independently in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create graphics and visual content for digital marketing, social media, websites, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
- Edit videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and other digital platforms.
- Develop short-form content such as Reels, promotional videos, thumbnails, and campaign creatives.
- Create motion graphics, animations, transitions, and basic visual effects.
- Adapt designs and videos for different platforms and content formats.
- Maintain consistency with the company's visual identity and brand guidelines.
- Handle basic video editing tasks including colour correction, subtitles, audio, and effects.
- Work with marketing and other teams to understand creative requirements and deliver projects on time.
- Manage creative files and maintain an organized workflow.
- Keep up with current design, video, social media, and AI-assisted creative trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour, composition, and branding.
- Good knowledge of digital and social media content formats.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and convert ideas into effective visual content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- A professional portfolio demonstrating relevant design and video work is required.
Software Skills
Practical experience with the following is required:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Figma
- Canva
- Final Cut Pro
Experience with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Cinema 4D, or AI-based creative tools will be an advantage.
Additional Advantage
Experience in photography, videography, UI/UX design, 3D design, branding, digital marketing, gaming, esports, or educational content will be an advantage.
Remote Work
This is a fully remote position for candidates based in India. The candidate should have a suitable computer or laptop for professional design and video editing, reliable internet connectivity, and a suitable workspace.
