About the Role
We are looking for an MBA Finance Intern to join our finance team and gain hands-on exposure to financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, accounting operations, and business finance. The intern will work closely with the finance team and support day-to-day financial activities while developing practical knowledge of finance in a real-estate business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial and MIS reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking activities.
- Assist with cash flow and revenue tracking.
- Maintain and analyze financial data using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Assist in bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Track receivables, payables, expenses, and outstanding payments.
- Support the finance team in preparing management reports and presentations.
- Assist in analyzing business performance and financial trends.
- Verify invoices, bills, payment records, and supporting documents.
- Assist with financial documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the team with basic GST/TDS and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related data and documentation.
- Conduct basic research and analysis as required by the finance team.
- Take up ad-hoc finance and analytical projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing MBA in Finance or recently completed MBA Finance.
- Strong understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts.
- Good command of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with large amounts of financial data.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
- Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Knowledge of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS is a plus.
