Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily quality inspection activities in the CNC machine shop.
- Ensure all products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform First Piece Approval (FPA), Last Piece Approval (LPA), and in-process inspections.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels and implement corrective actions.
- Inspection & Measurement
- erify dimensional inspection using:
- Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug Gauges, Ring Gauges
- Documentation
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensure Control Plans, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Inspection Standards are followed.
- Prepare daily quality reports and rejection analysis.
- Audit & Compliance
- Support Internal Audits and Process Audits.
- Participate in VDA 6.3, MACE, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and customer audits.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience. Minimum 2 years as Quality Supervisor
