We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift, combined with solid application development and DevOps skills. The role involves designing and managing scalable cloud platforms, implementing Infrastructure as Code, optimizing performance, and building advanced simulators and test environments to support enterprise-grade applications.
-
Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including:
-
Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and connectivity
-
Compute resources (VMs, AKS, scale sets)
-
Storage solutions (Blob, Disk, Files)
-
Security services (Key Vault, Azure AD integration, policies)
-
Architect, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift container platforms for enterprise application deployment.
-
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform for repeatable, auditable environment provisioning.
-
Manage Kubernetes clusters (Azure Kubernetes Service / OpenShift) and orchestrate containerized applications across multiple environments.
-
Plan and conduct comprehensive performance testing using tools like JMeter and Neoload.
-
Analyze application and infrastructure performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and resource constraints.
-
Implement performance tuning strategies for cloud resources, container platforms, and applications.
-
Define and maintain performance benchmarks, SLAs, and SLOs for critical systems and services.
-
Design and implement Azure networking solutions including:
-
VNets, subnets, peering, and VPN/ExpressRoute
-
Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, and routing
-
Application Gateways, Load Balancers, and ingress solutions
-
Configure and manage OpenShift networking components such as SDN, ingress controllers, and network policies.
-
Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud and container environments, including identity, access management, and compliance controls.
-
Troubleshoot complex networking issues across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, collaborating with infrastructure and security teams.
-
Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#, or similar).
-
Design and develop simulators for testing, training, and validation purposes, supporting various system and integration scenarios.
-
Build mock services and virtual environments to simulate real-world systems, third-party integrations, and external APIs.
-
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment using GitHub Actions (and other DevOps tools as needed).
-
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
-
Create automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for infrastructure management and deployment workflows.
-
Build realistic simulators to replicate production environments, external dependencies, and failure scenarios.
-
Develop test harnesses and simulation frameworks to support load testing, resilience testing, and chaos engineering.
-
Build training and sandbox environments for development, QA, and experimentation.
-
Design data-driven simulators with configurable scenarios and behaviors to support complex business and operational use cases.
-
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (networking, compute, storage, security).
-
Experience architecting and administering Red Hat OpenShift or other enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
-
Practical experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (or similar tools).
-
Solid understanding and operational experience with Kubernetes, containers (Docker), and microservices.
-
Proven experience in performance testing using JMeter, Neoload, or equivalent tools.
-
Strong grasp of cloud networking concepts, security controls, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
-
Experience developing cloud-native applications using at least one modern programming language.
-
Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (preferably with GitHub Actions) and integrating with cloud platforms.
-
Experience creating simulators, mock services, and complex test environments for application and integration testing.
-
Good understanding of DevOps practices, automation, and observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical issues across infrastructure, networking, and applications.
-
Clear verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, security, and business stakeholders).
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-
Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and ownership mindset for assigned tasks and deliverables.
-
High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
-
Relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or DevOps will be an added advantage.
