About the Role
Wilber & Longenbaugh is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team. We are open to both qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) and experienced non-certified accountants with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
The successful candidate will assist with financial reporting, tax preparation review, accounting operations, and other finance-related responsibilities for our U.S.-based clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare financial statements
- Support tax preparation and tax review processes
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Assist with financial reporting and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices
- Collaborate with team members in a remote environment
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (Required)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with financial statements and accounting operations
- Tax preparation experience preferred
- Experience working with U.S. accounting processes is a plus
Certifications
One of the following is preferred:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Enrolled Agent (EA)
Experienced non-certified accountants with strong accounting backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
