Position: Senior Field Application Engineer (SR. FAE)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Field Application Engineer (SR. FAE) to provide technical support, application engineering, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support for industrial automation and technology-based projects.
The candidate will be responsible for handling customer requirements, technical execution, site activities, system integration, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Perform application configuration, system integration, testing, and validation.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, networking, and field-level issues.
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, vendors, software teams, and engineering teams.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, commissioning, demonstrations, and customer acceptance activities.
- Support project execution from installation through final handover.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, test procedures, commissioning reports, and service reports.
- Analyze technical issues and provide effective root-cause solutions.
- Provide technical support to customers through onsite and remote assistance.
- Conduct customer training and demonstrations.
- Guide and support junior engineers during project execution.
- Monitor project activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with the sales and business development team for technical discussions and customer requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, solution discussions, site surveys, BOQ/BOM preparation, and technical proposals.
- Travel to customer locations as required for project and service activities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and project procedures.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Automation, Industrial Projects, System Integration, or Technical Services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of industrial automation, control systems, electrical/electronic systems, networking, and communication protocols.
- Experience with customer handling and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, SLDs, and system architecture.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to independently handle site activities and technical issues.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer, or a related engineering discipline.

Candidate Profile

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
