Key Responsibilities
● Maintain a rolling festival and Panchang calendar (Hanuman Jayanti, Navratri, Janmashtami, Mahashivratri, Ram Navami, Diwali, ekadashi, pradosh, etc.) with clear lead times for planning.
● Monitor devotional trends daily across YouTube, Instagram, and competitor channels (e.g., Pradeep Mishra, Aniruddhacharya, Jaya Kishori, TSeries Bhakti Sagar), surface spiking for mats, topics, and audios.
● Run keyword and search research (YouTube autocomplete, Google Trends, vidIQ/TubeBuddy) mapped to the channelʼs intent clusters: evergreen hymns, katha, “upayˮ, festival, and English/diaspora.
● Track relevant news and the cultural/geopolitical landscape (temple events, religious gatherings, public moments that touch the community), and flag both opportunities and sensitivities.
● Fact-check scriptural, mythological, and ritual references for accuracy before they
reach the script stage.
● Produce concise, source-backed content briefs: topic, angle, target keywords, references, and timing.
● Maintain an ideas backlog and a “handle-with-careˮ list of sensitive topics to protect
the brand.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Good to have)
- 1 to 4 years in content research.
- Nice to have: YouTube/SEO basics, ability to read Sanskrit, a journalism or
- content-research background.
- Strong knowledge of Hindu traditions, scriptures (Ramayana, Hanuman Chalisa,Shiv Mahapuran, etc.), festivals, and rituals.
- Excellent Hindi reading and comprehension; working English.
- Sharp research instincts and source discipline, able to separate fact from rumor.
- High cultural and religious sensitivity, with sound judgment on what could be controversial.
- Comfort with trend tools and spreadsheets.
- Based in Gurugram or ready to relocate.
