Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to various stages of the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of technologies, methodologies, and processes to support clients and projects effectively. The work includes collaborating with different teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions, while continuously adapting to evolving project requirements and technological advancements. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation to enhance system performance and client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align software development with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Agile PLM, including modules such as Product Collaboration (PC), Product Quality Management (PQM), and Product Governance & Compliance (PG&C)
- Strong experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and configuration management
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Hands-on experience with integration techniques and tools for connecting enterprise applications
- Expertise in Oracle SQL with a deep understanding of the Agile PLM schema
- Experience in developing custom solutions using Process Extensions (PXs), Agile SDK, and Web Services
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on maintainable and scalable solutions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Agile PLM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
