Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping standards across the confectionery manufacturing plant, office premises, warehouse, and common areas. The role ensures compliance with food safety standards, GMP practices, and company hygiene policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping Operations
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities in production, packing, warehouse, office, and utility areas.
- Ensure proper cleaning schedules are followed for floors, walls, equipment surroundings, washrooms, canteen, and common areas.
- Monitor housekeeping staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Allocate work duties and shift responsibilities to housekeeping team members.
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain pest-control cleanliness support and waste disposal systems.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and used safely as per SOPs.
- Support audits related to food safety, hygiene, and factory compliance.
Material & Inventory Control
- Monitor stock of housekeeping consumables such as cleaning chemicals, mops, tissues, detergents, bins, etc.
- Raise material indent requests for housekeeping supplies.
- Ensure proper usage and control of housekeeping materials.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure housekeeping staff use PPE properly.
- Maintain safe and hazard-free workplace conditions.
- Report unsafe conditions, damages, leakages, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow factory safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, attendance records, cleaning logs, and inspection reports.
- Prepare daily and monthly housekeeping status reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance, production, QA, and admin departments for cleanliness requirements.

Educational Qualification
- Any Degree / Intermediate / SSC
- Housekeeping or sanitation training preferred
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in housekeeping supervision
- Experience in confectionery, food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing industry preferred
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in factory housekeeping
- Knowledge of food safety audit requirements
- Ability to manage manpower in shifts
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel / attendance records)

Pay: ₹9,876.90 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
