Procurement Manager

We are hiring a Material Manager to oversee procurement operations, inventory planning and material management activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement, maintaining optimal stock levels and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to support smooth production and operational requirements.
Salary
- ₹50,000 – ₹110,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders based on stock movement and production requirements.
- Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate transportation follow-up.
- Verify purchase bills, invoices and material receipts.
- Follow up on pending orders and critical materials to avoid operational delays.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and transport partners.
- Verify ERP entries, physical stock records and wastage returns.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and monitor consignments in transit.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with vendors.
- Support internal and external audit processes related to procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Prepare procurement and inventory reports for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in Textile industry
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or material management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Experience working with suppliers and sourcing channels in the Indian market.
- Good negotiation, analytical and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement reporting.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
